Benelli MR1 - coming to Canada?

Does anyone know anything about this rifle? More specifically, will we be able to get it, and if so, when? Will it be restricted? Looks like it could be a lot of fun, especially if it's non-restricted.

Looks cool, I'm glad they resurrected the RX4 design. $1299 US should work out to be about $2499 retail when it hits our shores unfortunately.

The stock resembles their shotguns, it's not bad. Who knows it may be non restricted?

Of course it will be non res if the barrel is 18.5" or longer its non res. Its not a variant of any said design thats prohibited. Then again with the RCMP in charge right now they could screw it over just like the Type 97's

I agree...well, except for their guns, which are all butt ####ing ugly.

The collapsible stock makes that thing look fairly close to sort-of tolerable...fairly.

I think you are mistaken by the time it hits the dealers up here if it is non restricted it will be above $3,500.00
