I have a benelli mr1, aluminum top receiver. Aluminum sights. There is a t15 torx holding on sights and factory rail. I got one of the screws off of rear sight, but the rear most one is terribly tight.
I tried penetrating oil and heating it up from underneath with big lighter.
I twisted the bit on 2 screwdrivers on this.
Anyone have a similar experience or advice? I’m just about ready to take it to gunsmith on this one.

Screw Extractor bit, had to use one to get a stripped Screw out of the handgun that was holding on optic plate.

I used a bic lighter for heat, didn’t seem to get super hot. But I didn’t wanna discolour the finish on receiver. I already ruined 2 torx bits. But I need a longer handle one to get down in to that deep hole,

I wonder if an impact driver than you hit with a hammer would help?

You can use just the right amount of force I would think

In addition to heat of course

Would you use an impact driver on that or just use hand tools with heat?

Don't use the impact driver. I only suggested using impact bits because they are better quality bits. Use hand tools only.

And as Onagoth has suggested you can insert the bit into the screw head and tap it with a hammer to try and crack it loose.

Also your Bic lighter won't get it hot enough, especially if there is thread locker applied. A mini torch will get you enough heat but as you mentioned you risk damaging the finish.

So this leads me to my next suggestion... apply heat directly to the screw with a soldering iron.

I've looked for a YouTube video to demonstrate to you how to do it with a soldering iron and this is the best I came up with. Just don't get carried away or you risk damaging the screw head and you're back to being out of luck. Heat it a bit then try it. If no go apply a bit more heat and try again. This method usually works on everything.
