Benelli 'MR1'

Saw that WSS is now carrying these in the 2010 catalogue , anyone had any experience with this rifle ??

I held the one at wholesale here in GP and it felt really good, i would liket to know how they shoot though.

i saw one the other day and I personally didn't care for the pencil thin barrel and the mag release location. They are non-restricted with the barrel length. It just didn't do anything for me. Kind of a disappointment.

It's nice that they do take ar style mags and are non res, but they are so 'fugly' they are cute, won't be long until one of the Baldwin brothers will be using one in a remake of ' Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man '

They should make Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man again but WITH Don & Mickey, never mind these younger guys, nothing wrong with Don and Mickey.

As to the MR1, I guess beautiful is as beautiful does. I like it, looks like the CX4, awesome.

With the Benelli M4 telescopic stock (and a Flash Hider), I'd be all in! the fixed stock doesn't do it for me.
I don't mind the pencil thin 20" barrel; heck, I'd just have it chopped and threaded to 18.5"

I got to handle one at Mountain Man in Cranbrook. My take is they look ugly, but I like the stock and sights. The sights look solid, and the stock is very comfortable.

The bolt, however, feels like the M4 shotgun's bolt in pull and probably uses the same style of charging handle.

In short, if I had more money than brains, I would have bought it.
