Benelli MR1

Has anyone else bought a Benelli MR1? I took mine to the range today to try it out. Now, I was told that this thing was a tack driver by Stoger sales rep.
His definition of a tack driver and mine seem to differ somewhat. I was getting buckshot patterns at 100yds. Before you blame the shooter ,I normally shoot in the 2s with my bolt gun.
Does anyone else have any experience with this rifle?

I really wanted one, really wanted one. That is until I spent an afternoon shooting a friends MR1. Scoped up at 100yds with a good Luepold 3x9 VXII we were getting 6-8" groups with Federal 55gr FMJ and 5" groups 55gr match ammo, sorry can't remember the brand. Function was flawless, ergos were okay, but the accuracy was on par with my old Mini-14 I had in the '80's, or my ChiCom SKS. A shame because I was all set to buy one until actually going out and shooting it. Hopefully things will work out for you.
