Benelli Nova or Remington 870 express??

I taught a 100 lb girl to shoot trap. She tried both my benelli nova and an 870 express (borrowed from my pastor). She said the felt recoil of the nova was significantly less, and had a marked preference for the benelli over the remington.

A Friend of mine said the same thing when comparing my Nova to his 870 express, me I don't notice it as much, but he swears by it.

I just traded my 870 for a Benelli Nova , I was wondering if I did right , sounds like I did , now my M1 super 90 won't get lonely . Haven't been able to try it out yet and I'm teaching a firearms course this weekend so I'm going to have to suffer till next weekend.

I have two supernovas.
One for hunting, one for IPSC competition.

I've owned an 870 express (sold it after my first hunting season with it) and currently have an older wingmaster.
The express is not a good shotgun, and modern day Remingtons lack quality.
My old wingmaster is far superior to anything Remington is making these days.
If Remington is your choice, source a wingmaster made in the early 90's or prior.

I wouldn't trade my supernovas for 10 expresses
(well maybe I would just to sell them and buy more Benellis)

Had a newer 870. Complete garbage. Poor fit, finish and heat treat( rolled back locking lugs kinda turned me way off -50 rds through gun!). Had it for 5 days. Took it back and picked up a Supernova. Well worth the little extra coin. Less felt recoil, very well put together gun, better sights and came with 3 chokes.

REMINGTON IS DEAD TO ME after the last couple of guns I've purchased were utter junk.
All of the Norinco's I've owned are better functioning than the crap Remington has been pushing lately.

Hey! Remington, let me go get you a large spoon..... You can eat my A$$

Don't know much about new Rem Express but after some research I just got my first firearm/shotgun Benelli Supernova.

It's black synthetic 28" and I can't wait to use it this sunday at Silverdale:ar15:
