Benelli Nova

I purchased a Nova 3 years ago and love the reliability of the gun. The problem I have with it is that when I shoot it the high comb and short butt take a piece of my cheekbone with it everytime. After a good hunt my head is pounding from all the abuse. Has anyone ever heard of someone who works with manipulating the Nova as the butt end cannot be taken off as it is one piece with the forestock. I would appreciate any ideas. I contacted Benelli and they said that is all they had for a stock.

Is should have came with adjustment shims. Just change the angle of the stock and it will do the trick. Novas are generally hard when shooting 3.5s -this was the reason I went with SuperNova.

I think you can put a mercury recoil reducer in your butt stock, that should help quite a bit. Usually cheek slap is associated with either poor gun mount or poor gunfit.FS
