I have experience with 2 in 30-06, one wood, one comfortech.
The wood one shoots realy well (my dad's), the comfortech also shoots great, had some issues that were cleared up with a new scope (vx3 had a loose crosshair). They both function great, and never have any problems, hunitng in extreme conditions.
I have several rifles, but I hunt with an R1 and trust it.
My dad and I are taking them buffalo hunting next week in northern BC and leaving the Sako 375H&H and Rem700 338 at home. Life's too short to hunt with a bolt action.
