Benelli R1 owners

If I take my R1 barrel off to clean my gun, will I have to sight it in again. I will be leaving the scope attatched to the barrel.

Also, where is the best place to get replacement O rings in case there is problems with mine. When I cleaned it when it was new they looked pretty fragile.

I've put around 500 shots throught it without cleaning it, and haven't had a single problem (except for finding all the brass!)

Just give the gas system a light whip down, it is supposed to be pretty much self cleaning, so no need to go crazy on it.

IIRC Stogers Canada (sp?) carries Benelli and could possible bring in parts if you needed them, and if they couldn't for some reason I would avoid going through any US channel and simply contact Benelli directly if you needed to.

As for zeroing...I never noticed an issue with my R1 300 win mag after taking the barrel off, but I would check it out at the range before hunting anyway.
