From what i understand Benelli has "american series" of shotguns (lower priced) derived from their standard shotgun offerings in a different styling (cosmetic only)..the sbe II and the m2 both available in american series packages. Heres the question, and maybe a dumb one....but do they sell any of those shotguns in Canada? and if not, shouldnt we ask why? just throwing it out there....stu ps:and no smartass answers like: because they are called "american series" not "canadian series".

from what i can see the only difference is the comfortech stock.
havent seen them in canada yet though.

Stoeger Canada books product for the Canadian market and Beretta USA books product for the American market. Both book and import product that is not available in the other country. Both companies are independent of each other and seem to like it that way. Anyway that is what a couple Stoeger reps told me.

I think you're referring to the 3901 American, made by Beretta. Don't think Benelli would ever offer a 'budget' SBE II

No its definetely a sbeII and it doesent have the comfortech, also 10-15% cheaper. But it does come with a cool combo: camo stock and forearm with black receiver and barrel.
