I have one for myself and it is a beautiful gun. I bought a plastic forend from Superport as I like the slightly thinner design of it.
It is Supersport in wood instead of Comfortec plastic. Using it for clays and shot almost 2.6k rounds throuh it.
Found it on EE 2 years ago and love it. No, I am not selling it

A friend if mine has one and he bought it from Elwood Epps in Orillia for $2,600 new.
Another friend has Supersport and that's how I can compare the guns.
To me, when Benelli decuded to call the model Sport/Supersport, they knew that people would shoot clays and challenge the gun with 1Oz ir even less loads. So, to avoid claims and negative feedbacks they made it very well.
Mine is cycling 7/8 loads but I keep it very clean. Beautiful gun. I also have Franchi Affinity for my hunting trips and while they are from the same group, I can't compare them.
The Franchi has a spring under forend and it means the bolt is being pulled. The Benelli has a spring in a buttstock and it is pushing the bolt forward. There is a nice sound of the Benelli's bolt when it l gets closed, it is soft and rich.
Nothing similar with my Franchi, there is a regular metal sound. It is subjective but noticeable to me. Sort of the feeling of the cars' doors.
