Breda made a shotgun called the Grizzly Super Mag quite a few years ago and it was a near exact copy of the Benelli Super Black Eagle with the exception of the rear portion of the receiver that had more curvature to it. They continued production of the model for a few years after Benelli switched to the SBE II then discontinued it around 2009-2010...maybe later? I was just looking for Breda's contact info to help out another poster in another thread below and was surprised to see that Breda re-introduced the gun as the Grizzly and this time it is an identical looking copy of the original SBE with the possibility of a 32" barrel!

Back in 2008 I had inquired about buying one, seeing as how the importer was/is FN Sports but when I was quoted an $1800 price I told the gun shop to forget it. Be interesting to see what price they go for now!

I agree! They are a simple and very good design but they are over-priced for the technology and are no faster cycling than the "old" Remington 1100 design. I own quite a few of the Browning/Winchester siblings but only own one SBE...and that is simply because I like the lines of the gun. The SBE II, if one was given to me today, I would put it up for sale without even opening the box.
