Benelli supernova barrels

Hello,

Ive been thinking of buying a supernova lately and was wondering if one could simply buy a rifled barrel as well and swap them back and forth. Is there any other differences between the rifled barrel version and smooth barrel? Would like the option of a rifled barrel for deer in shotgun only areas.

I was looking into it for my Nova as the barrels are the same you can almost buy a brand new Nova for the price of a rifled barrel. I wanted to change mine into a slug gun for bear but ended up just going to get an 870 and turn it into a slug gun and leave the Nova alone....

Where did u find barrels up here? Only could find then in the US

I bought a rifled barrel here off the exchange few years back. I have a supernova turkey gun 24 inch and a tactical 14 inch in which I interchange all barrels from one to the next. The tactical with folding stock and the turkey with steady grip is an awesome setup with the rifled barrel. Tactical is a very packable gun that can reach out accurately 150 yards scoped with sabots when it has rifled barrel on.
