Hi everybody,

I don't own any shotguns, just wanted to know what the stock magazine capacity is for the Benelli Supernova.

I know that some websites and catalogs indicate that the capacity is 4 in the tube and 1 in the chamber; but is it 4 rounds for 2.75", 3", and 3.5" cartridges?

Or is it 5 rds for 2.75", 4 rds, for 3", and 3 rds for 3.5"? And lastly, does a shotgun magazine spring wear out over time, allowing for an extra round to be loaded, compared to if gun was brand new?

I understand these are really newbie questions; thanks for any helpful responses!

So the magazine can also hold four 3" rounds and four 3.5" rounds too? and does anybody with first hand experience with the Supernova tried testing its capacity limits?

Again, sorry, I'm a total noob.

This video I threw together should help any issues you would have with the Benelli SuperNova and its various ammo capacities, granted yes this one is the 14" Tactical Model, however the standard 18" and above barrel lengths do also have magazine tube extensions as noted before also...
