I have a like new benelli supernova that has about 50 rounds through it. Is it possible to get a shorter barrel for this gun? Because the existing barrel is like new i dont want to cut it down. I was looking at making it shorter and use it more as a gun for when i go into the bush. If its not possible ill put it up for sale when i get access to the equipment exchange.

How much shorter? Take a look at alscornerstore dot ca and check out the Carlson's barrels available.

I have a 18.5" Benelli super nova barrel i may be willing to trade for the 28" off yours if you're interested..
 
How many rounds have been put down that 18.5inch barrel? I was hoping to get onto the EE to look around as well but I still haven't been approved yet and its been awhile.

Yeah, with a supernova, unless you really like the gun specifically, you're almost better off just getting an entirely separate shotgun to have a shorter barrelled one, imo. I"m presently wrestling with the same sort of decision myself(Not really interested in an 18" barrel, I shouldered one in a store recently and found it felt too short for me, ergonomically/comfort-wise, though I find the 28" supernova to be the opposite, kinda too large.), and trying to come to terms with wanting a hunting gun, and a shorter range toy.

I have a Super Nova Tactical with the 14 inch barrel and I just recently got a Carlson's 24 inch barrel for it. Can't wait to try it out. Best of both worlds. ;)

Does anyone know where a 14 inch barrel for the supernova can be purchased? I have looked around but cant find one. Would be kinda neat to switch between the 2 differeny barrels

FWIW, I got a quote from them recently on a 24" barrel:

80212 24" VR matte barrel $575.00 plus shipping and tax

(80212 is the part number.)

I'm not aware of any Benelli-made Supernova barrel shorter than 18", personally. There's probably aftermarket stuff. (Or maybe stuff from Italy that you actually have to import? Dunno, only looked at their USA site.)

Would anyone know how long it takes to get approved for the Equipment Exchange? I want to put my benelli supernova up for sale but have to wait till i get approved.
