Rather ugly I must say... I'm sure it runs well however.

I've heard a rumor that Benelli's parent company of Beretta is considering offering an ARX-100 based box mag fed shotgun, though apparently they don't want to end up cannibalizing sales of their tube fed tactical shotguns.

If it shoots well I could deal with the fuglieness.

Me as well, but I'd dump that pistol grip stock in favor of something more traditional.

Vinci's are supposed to be the feather weights in the Benelli line correct?. If it shoots well and is light, I could certainly get around it's "big bertha" looks.

Seems all companies want to do is put a pistol grip, winged front sight tower and rear ghost sight and HEY IT'S TACTICAL.

It's available with a conventional stock, though its quite a bit more money and puts the gun's already high U.S. list price close to that of the M4.

The Vinci isn't any lighter than their other inertial guns.

It's possible that Benelli could drop, or at least de-emphasize, some of their existing Tactical models once this becomes available.

BTW, I'm pretty sure its only available in 3+1 configuration right now, as was the M2 tactical when it was released, no doubt it will be sold with a +2 extension before long but right now I'm not sure one is even offered in the U.S. market.
