Benjamin Discovery Youtube video

@3:55 "I have read reports on the internet of really good accuracy"

I also believe everything I read on the internet!

The CGN shirt is the only saviour in this vid.

Shoot it and let us know how it really works. Do you get 30 shots per charge? Is the accuracy good? does it stay at 1000fps for all 30 shots?

Good points, perhaps I will re-edit it a bit.
Yes it does stay quite stable velocity for most shots, then falls off quickly.

I just watched footage of a coyote taking a dirt nap thanks to a 357 Benjamin!
I would really like to know what the life span or service interval is on the seals. Can you service yourself? Does the manual indicate?

I have shot a rouge 357 they are awesome real thumping power!! I have 2 Benjamin pcp rifles they are easy to work on and the manuals and part support is good.

I owned two Disco's and I have no problem recommending them as an excellent PCP air rifle... they hold a charge well, the hand pump is easy to use and the accuracy is excellent... we tested two dozen pellets for accuracy and found that the 14.3 grain Crosman Premiers were the best... 1/2 inch groups at 25 meters... some one-hole groups... we also used them on dozens of grouse and hares.

I have been wanting to jump into the pcp world from springers for a while. No negative affects from leaving it charged fully is there? How long does it take to pump to full capacity with the hand pump? Don't wanna hijack but it kinda fits. :)

All depends oon how low you run it I have a hill 3 stage pump on a benjamin maybe 60 to 80 pumps on my condor 100 to 125 pumps. I now use a shoe box and a scuba set up.

No problem leaving it charged up.
I find the first 50 or so pumps are easy, then it gets more difficult.
About 100 total to get to 2000 psi

Last time I left an air rifle pumped up the seals failed and it was thrown away they have seals that don't like pressure over time it will slowly leak out over time. Storage with low pressure is fine max not so much read the manual 98 percent of air rifles say don't store with air in the tank.

Try moving the barrel band out closer to the muzzle. My gunsmith is an avid airgunner and I bought his used Disco in 177. He said he could get three shots in 1/2" @ 30 yards with it. I haven't had that much luck yet, but I rarely use it.

Good luck!
