Hi. My benjamin came in yesterday. First impressions are how can they sell this gun for $295.00? Comes with center point 3-9 x 40 scope. Who is Center Point? I dont know but the feel of the scope is quite nice. Nice click detents, very smooth optic adjustment. The gun is equiped with a scope rail whick locks that scope ,it aint moving. The gun also comes with a sling which is a cheap nylon sling which is fine for a pellet gun. The stock is a nice laminate probably all cnc i would think. Trigger? Sucks balls. I took the trigger out and took the main spring out of it and hucked it. Trigger is much better now but is still probably 5 lbs or so. Fine for a pellet gun.
The gun feels very solid, and precision. The stock is a thumb hole style which i am on the fence on. I like a traditional stock myself but hey. $295 bucks ? I will take it.
Shooting the gun? I shot about 50 cheap crosman pellets through it just to break it in. Hip shots.
Broke out the better pellets, and this thing is very accurate. At 20 yds all shots are within a nickle. The trigger is the weak point. With a better trigger this thing would be an outstanding tackdriver.
Sound? Its pretty quiet. I was shooting it in the garage and it is a different sound than a springer. The sound drops off very fast so its a a very short crack. On a springer the sound is alot longer due to the vibration of the spring.
So first impressions are excellent. Seriously. $295 is a steal for this gun with all the goodies included.
BTW. I was shooting at a bow foam block made for practice shooting bows. Pellets were blowing through the other side of the block .
I will give Airgunsource a plug. Excellent service, They got the gun to me from Ontario in 5 days. They threw in 2 boxes of crosman pellets to break the gun in. Decent bunch of guys.
So there it is. I cant wait to blast a magpie if one shows up.

Included is one ####ty picture.:)

I like the look of the stock. Accuracy sounds good. Not sure I followed you about removing a spring to improve the trigger. You hucked it? And replaced it with what?

There are 2 springs as part of the trigger. The outer spring i will call it, got tossed in the garbage. No idea why its there.I guess to increase trigger feel to 120 lbs. If you watch a trigger replacement for this gun and others. The replacement trigger has no spring. There is still another internal spring mechanism so its not like there is no spring.:)

Yes. I was looking at those a few weeks back. My trigger is fixed now. I took the trigger apart again and added a roller to the sear pin so it emulates the GRT trigger. Now the trigger has no creep whatsoever. It breaks clean. Huge improvement.
