Looking to add a .22 multi pump to the pest control toolbox. Can anyone tell me how these shoot? .22 around the 600 fps mark should give me a little more range on pigeons and the like. Any info would be great. Thanks.

i have a silverstreak in 20 cal. it will take out a pigeon easily but you miss a lot because of the noisy pumping. my other air rifle is the ultimate hunter. diana 34 in .177 k illed many pigeons . it shoots 177 pellets over 900 fps and virtully no holdover out to35-40 yards. i had .22 and 177 models. sold the .22 too loopy trejectory . the 177 does enough damage due to the speed of the pellet to take out g hogs at 30 yards. i got 4 that were burrowing under the porch at work- all 1 shot kills with iron sights head shots.

Good to know thanks for the reply. I have a .177 stoger x10 love it and it shoots great but you know how it is. Always want someting new to add to the collection. :)

I just sold a 392 in the EE. I loved it. I had a 3-12x44 Leapers on it and it was a great grouse / pigeon / gopher gun....for what it is and the price it is.
