Just wondering if anyone has one or has shot a "BENJAMIN TRAIL NP ALL WEATHER". ive been thinking of getting one for a while now, cant decide between that one or the "BENJAMIN CLASSIC 22" D&L has both.

are they good air guns? accurate, reliable?

any info is appreciated, thanks.

hi, I have the BENJAMIN TRAIL NP .22 in wood stock. I just got it last week from Canada air gun source. I like this air rifle, it is loud for like 40 shots then after that it is very silent, sound like a ruler slapping a desk lightly? sorry not very good a describing the sound...

I had the chance to hold both the all weather and normal wood stock. the wood was lighter for me. and I did like the feel of both. If I had the chance to pick again between this 2 I would chose the all weather... the wood is damaged easily on mine...

it comes with sling, scope and scope cover. even if it was made in china it works fine. I have to say for the price I might get another... XL this time.

BENJAMIN TRAIL NP XL in .22. I should of waited till they got it in stock. seem like the same but more power!

"are they good air guns? accurate, reliable?"

seem like it's really nicely made and works fine. I don't have the opportunely to see the accuracy till next week when I can shoot longer distance then 10 yards.

I just picked up the trail NP package at Bass Pro. I loved everything about it except that it's minute of pie plate at 20 yards. Seriously, I can't group under 4 inches from a rest at 20 yards. I think I'm going to
try a different scope on it.

It may not be the scope. PAL rated air rifles tend to be a little hold sensitive.
Try to rest the forearm of the rifle on your open palm, don't use a tight grip on your trigger hand. When you fire the rifle, allow it to recoil. You don't want to pull the stock tight to your shoulder.
With powder burning rifles, you want a nice firm grip but with high-powered air rifles, you want the opposite. You want to allow the rifle to recoil and after trying a few different pellets, and a nice light grip, your groups should get alot better.
If you've already heard this before, I appologize. A nice site for reviews on this rifle is the 'airgun hunter' web site.
Good Luck

try heaver pellets, it will greatly help accuracy.

For the price of the gun, why would you pay that much for such lousy accuracy.A few dollars more would get you a HW50s which can hit a dime at 20 yards..I don't mind chinese guns as long as they're cheap. 325 dollars is getting into precision air gun territory. Specialty shooting sports has a HW50s for 345 dollars..It is in a different league than any chinese rifle.

this is gas piston and the accuracy of mine is great! hitting a dime at 20 is no issue. and for a china make gun, it's really well made.

since the fps is high the pellet selection need to be tested for the right stuff. got rid of lot of skunks and raccoons.
