Has any one bought this rifle. I have one and the thing will not hold air, the trigger pull is about 10-12 lbs but this expect as the trigger is cycling the magazine.
is there any fix for the leak or do I need to return this to point of purchase(on-line purchase so i bit of a hassle).

thanks

Don't have one, but I have had a Crosman 1077, which is what the Wildfire is based on. The trigger will always suck, it is a double action trigger. The long pull is because it has to rotate the magazine, then pull the hammer back.

The 1077 had lots of areas where leaks could happen, I assume they tightened things up when they went pcp pressures. But at that price point, who knows. I think the gun is already discontinued due to it being a disaster.

Count yourself lucky it leaked, return it and see if you can get a Beeman QB Chief instead. The Chief is based on the QB-78, a copy of a Crosman 160. The design dates back to the 60's or so. Solid gun, from what I've read.

I don’t have one either but a quick search pulls up the fact leaks are a fairly common problem with these, if you’re good with troubleshooting, disassembly/assembly and can find the appropriate o rings then you could probably fix it otherwise send it back.
