Hey there, which of these mags are better? Or are both = in quality? Just wondering which ones to buy. Thanks.. Does the lips spreas apart on the IMI when fully loaded? Like the other BEO polymer mags do .

I just bought a couple c products ones from csc. Haven't used them yet but, upon first inspection they appear pretty cheap. Hope they're half decent for a $37 price tag

Thanks, I had some of the first poly mags, cant remember the brand, but when you inserted the 14 th rnd , the lips would spread apart :). Was wondering if the IMI mags were the same.

They look and feel just like the C-Prod 30 rnd mags.... Just not as "tall"

Pretty much like any other stamped metal AR type mag.

I received mine from CSC today, they hold the "correct" number of rnds, no flexing of the feed lips. They seem to feed fine, but I have yet to "use" them.

IMHO LIGHTYEARS better than the plastic ones!

I can also justify spending $40 on these, considering the cheapest 5/30 are like $18 & tax (and shipping). So for the same "capacity" I can do it for $40 or $60.......

Ok , has anybody tryed both of these? I'm not concerned with the $7 price diff. Just would like to get the better quality mag.

The c-products are wayyyy better that the pcv mags. Felt pretty tight getting it in to a tavor but on the Anderson arms lower it's running fine.

I have 5 of the C-Products from the first batch CSC brought in, all are pinned VERY tightly. At 15 rounds of .223 they have trouble stripping off the 1st round when using the bolt release (charging handle was okay), but now that I have an AXTS Raptor even that won't strip off the top round. Loading 14 though, no issues whatsoever.

C Products mag is the exact build quality as their 10rd RRA mag. Haven't used it yet but don't see any issues. I'm staying away from the PCV ones. I still like the original AA 5/10's better because they are the same length as a 5/30 PMag. Sure they cost more but you get what you pay for also.

P&D enterprise in edmonton had some this afternoon for 27$ , after i look at them one guys came and took the last 5

C-Product mags are a PITA to load (though not as bad as XCR 7.62x39 mags, which prompted me to sell that rifle) the IWI are slick. Both lock in the magwell nice and tight.

IWI for the win, will def buy more.

Either way it's GREAT to have more options. Just wish they made them in a full length body. Ah well, that what custom mag pouches are all about.
