Beowulf 50 applications?

I was hoping someone could let me know what NR rifles in 223 will accept the Beowulf 50 mag? I'm looking for a new toy but don't want to be restricted to going to the range only. I've also heard rumor that there's a chance that the AR platform might become NR, I don't really see that happening but was curious of what you guys think.

None that I know of. But the .50 Beowulf has the same rim as a 7.62x39 cartridge, You could probably have a gunsmith retrofit an XCR with a 7.62x39 bolt to .50 beowulf if you want to spend the money.

Any rifle that will accept stanag AR mags will accept beowulf mags.

Then the T97, SU16 and a CZ/VZ/CSA with a magwell conversion are your only options for semi-auto. A Bushmaster M17S is an option if it is stock and you don't mind going through the import process. All the others start around $2000 and go up drastically from there.

you are basically down to one or two choices like already posted, I would suggest you save up before buying.

Yea I don't think you remember this is a .50 Beowulf thread. So I think an AR in .50 Beowulf would would be a great bear defence gun.

Rangers take out polar bears with one shot of 55gr FMJ applied between the eyes with their bolt action 223's. I'm sure you won't have trouble with a 223 and a beowulf mag against local bears.

Yea but that is when they have time to aim. If rather have a larger round for when a bear is charging, because then I wouldn't have time to take aim for tha kind if accuracy.
