Any of you guys run into berdan primers in that norinco surplus 556 ammo? I broke 2 decapping pins on Dillion dies in my 650 tonight and am kinda wondering if there was any chance a few may have been berdan primed? I've run a pile of this stuff through the Dillion with no problems yet, thoughts?

I wouldn't reuse that brass to reload.....stick with quality brass, some of my favorite. IVI, PMC. While I will shoot that norc ammo, no way I trust that brass to be reloaded. Ymmv..

If you look, you'll notice that the flash hole inside the primer pocket of Norinco ammo is rarely centered. I don't know why that is, but sometimes it's off center far enough that the decapping pin misses the hole. I've never ran into any berdan primers in Norinco, just poorly manufactured boxer!

Pretty sure you just hit the nail on the head friend this stuff goes in the bin

There was a thread (in the ammo section) where a guy had a fail to fire, so he took the round apart and there was no flash hole at all! There's pics for proof haha it's was pretty crazy!
