Hey
Can someone explain the difference between the two?
Would be used for range shooting and as a defence gun , if ever needed.
I would put a pistol grip and preferably a Magpul CTR stock on either one , if that doable.

I went with an 18.5" 1301 for... buck shot

1301 comp pro 24" for the range

Look at the steelium barrel as one difference

I never plan to shoot 3.5" shells

For defence the answer is always a 1301T. IF it fits your budget.

If not, go with a cheaper model but if you can spare the extra coin... it's worth every penny.

12 gauge rounds, ringing through your wrist and up into your arm will get old, PDQ. The Tac boi's think everything is an AR, but one 12 gauge round with a pistol grip and you'll realize the ballistic differences between .308/5.56 and a shotgun. Hell, even our great, great, grandpappy's knew the difference with shotguns and designed a recoil displacing large flat-ish buttstock for them in comparison to the curved off hand butt stock of the then rifles.
The only advantage with a pistol grip on a 1301, would be safety manipulations. Aside from that, someone would have to do some hard sales job to convince me that there is any improvement on maneuverability, accuracy, or anything else with a pistol grip vs the standard buttstock.

I have a Winchester sxp extreme pump with pistol grip but want to try a semi

Was thinking the beretta 300 would be a better upgrade
I know the m4 is the cats meow, but don’t really want to spend the coin.
Was thinking the 300 would be good enough?
Or maybe one of those clones?

Sorry if the message is a bit confusing, I’m on the wrisky.. lol

I’m buying either the 1301 or the 300 .
From what I’ve read ,the 300 is a bit lighter which I like.
What would I be giving up if I chose the 300

Pretty much everything is better on the 1301T. Better barrel, more robust and faster "BLINK" operating system etc.

The 300 is a great gun but if the price difference is in your budget... go for a 1301T.
