Nice! Is this adapter only for the Remington 870 SGA stock (Pictured)? Will there be one for the Mossberg 500/590/590A1 SGA as well? Thank you in advance!

We chose to develop the 1301 adaptor with the remington 870 SGA stock as we already make 4 other adaptors useing the rem870 stock

It wasn't long ago you said you wouldn't do this because it's scummy to "steal" from others..?? I can't say I'm not glad you changed your mind at least.

Yes it was a heavy decision to make
With 2 other Companies making 1301 adaptors.
And again 3 to 6 month lead times we have been dealing with for the last3/4yrs is very frustrating.
But more so watching the manufacturer sell the product retail from there website while waiting many months. For our order to be filled is more frustrating.
Watching them list product then getting 100s of emails and calls asking when we will be getting our order.
And having to tell people
I have no idea.
Having the manufacturer refuse to answer emails for Canadian clients is also hard to deal with.
The otjer 2 manufacturers also won't deal with Canadian clients..
So after much contemplating we decided to develop our own.
It's based on the same design process as the 4 other sto k adaptors we have been making for years.
These will be avaliable on a regular bases and be cheaper.
It will use the remington sga stock same as our other adaptors.

I agree with sj on this 100%

Good to see some Canadian made options out there

It was absolutely a good decision, the factors laid out are exactly what I was saying when I asked.

Now if we could only get more 1301 faster!
Ita offical. 1301 has out sold the benelli M4 for the 2nd year in a row according to Stoeger Canada

Have a question on the stock adaptors, I see that Aridus and the GG&G stock adaptors come with a recoil buffer spring, similar to the original beretta recoil buffer that is integrated to the original stock mounting bolt.

Now that these have been in use for a while have you seen any issues with not having the recoil buffer installed when using a stock adaptor or has everything been good to go?

We have been making stock adaptors since 2004.
One of the reasons we use the remington V mossberg stocks.
On our1301adaptor we have sold more that a,1000 of those, our 2 test guns one have just under 11k rounds and one have just under 3800 rounds.
That does not include students using them as back up guns on the PhaseLine Green shotgun courses we run.
It's a non non issue for our adaptor.
