It is confusing. If you're looking for the one with the new fore end, make sure you call and confirm (actually have them look, I've been burned twice by other stores that don't bother to open a box) as there were a bunch that came up to Canada initially, but don't have the "US" fore end because of some export law stuff, but are "mod 2" which really isn't any different from "gen 2" just much more expensive.
