Was one of the foundation models that would eventually turn into the 92. New they were a solid gun, typical Beretta quality. Surplus they can be hit and miss. The mag release is a bit funky but you get used to it.

For the right price it can be a fun addition to a collection.

I have a Tariq. Similar to a 1951. Feels good in the hand and shot very well right out of the box.
