Beretta 409 sxs value

So my dad, who is decidedly less sentimental than I, is selling his father's Beretta. It's a 12g, 2 3/4" chamber, with 27.5" barrels, purchased in 1947. It's a straight stock and is very good condition considering its age. It makes my stomach turn to see it on the block.

How much do you think it's worth?

Yes, that would be the simple approach. Except that I'm in charge of pricing and selling it.

Anywhere between $550 t0 $900 depending on condition for a 12 ga --- $900.00 being in new condition.
