Would like some opinions on these guns. When were they made ? Value? Any leads where I can find a used one .. thanks

There is this cool sub forum on this even cooler web site called Canadian Gun Nuts.
All you have to do is place an advert in the thing called the EE or Equipment Exchange as it is also know as.
No need to thank me.

He's got you guys, the Beretta 626 Onyx is an older model SXS. 1985-1988 Beretta can't make O/U's fast enough to meet demand, and has always had a hard time giving away SXS's made to the same standards and price point. Go Figure.

Beretta 625, 626, 627's followed the 409 and Silver Hawk series. The 625 was a plain jane with extractors, the 626 had a couple of versions with ejectors as did the 627 which had false side plates. Forerunners of the 470 series. The 486 was considerably different however.

We gave a former Manager a 626 (Onyx ... blue & a nice piece of walnut) a 26" 20ga. as a retirement gift. He's been using it, he tells me, totally trouble free, for a bit of skeet and for grouse & woodcock every season for the past 21 years. Good, solid reliable gun. IMHO, a touch above the Browning BSS and Ithaca 100/200 SxS's.

I wish Beretta would make a SxS at the 686 price point !

Still looking for one..Help please

I am a fan of SxS shotguns and always on the lookout for a nice one priced right to add to the collection.
But I can tell you in the 15 plus years that I have been into them, I have never seen a Beretta 626 Onyx for sale. I only new they existed
was from old hunting mags that Beretta advertised them in. But you never know when one might show up for sale. Good luck with your search.
