I have one. It's a nice pistol. Fitted with a red dot sight, I can shoot dime sized groups off a rest to 25 yards using AE 38g hollowpoints. I like the pistol. The fit and finish are first class.

Some people who have shot my 87T did not like the trigger as they felt it had too much pre-travel or creep. I agree with this comment but after a few shots, I am able to get used to it. My only complaint is that it is on the pricey side. Otherwise, accurate, well built and good looking (albeit, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder-but I consider this one of the nicer looking .22 pistols). Saw one in the exchange forum a while back at a good price.

Beretta 87 target

Hey Misfire or other 87T owners I'm looking for a 22 pistol for my wife. Something that I would like to use also. How is the 87T for a small hand size? Can you compare it to the feel of another Beretta like something from the 92/96 series?

I’ve shot one... it’s smaller a bit than the 92Fs series. IMO it’s kinda ugly I’d rather get the U22 pistol if I wanted a .22 beretta.

JNG, it'd fit a small hand quite well. Like IM said, the 'grip' is smaller than the 92FS. If your wife has really small hands, try a Walther P22. My friend has one and I found the 'grip' really small.

IM, the 87T ain't ugly!! The Neos (U22's), now we're talking ugly. :wink:
