Beretta 90 -two... what's the skinny?

I had a 92 awhile back, tried as I may,I never got to like that gun.It was really well made and nicely finished and very reliable(never ever jammed),but I just never could get to like the clunky grip, and trigger pull, which I found really heavy and long.I also found it very big for a 9mm and "top heavy" wit its big, heavy slide.Another aspect I didnt like was the fact that the bore axis is quite high on the 92,so the gun rolls quite a bit in recoil.I put about 4K through the gun before selling it,but still found my CZ/Tanfoglio/Glocks easier and more accurate to shoot.Still, theres alot of people out there who really like Berettas, and theres nothing really bad about it,just wasnt for me

I think he is talking about a different pistol, the new Beretta 90? It looks nice, I would love to hear more about it...

I've handled 90-two, nice gun for sure (although I still preffer the looks of my 92fs Inox :) )

I'ts basicaly a 92FS with interchangable grips (regular and slim) and updated looks; still same great pistol. IIRC the grip might've felt better than 92fs...

Bought one and the paperwork is final here so I am picking it up tonight :dancingbanana:

Actually the wife bought it for herself.....we wanted 2 non-polymer guns as our first two were both polymer.....

I bought the CZ75 SHADOW....also picking it up tonight. So ask me in a week or so how the 90-Two is..........

Dad owns a 90-two. It has a super long trigger pull that takes alot of time to get use too. Also the sight picture is not as tight as a glock.

My verdict: If you want a duty pistol the 90-two is more than willing to give you duty pistol preformance. If you want something for IPSC or IDPA, look elsewere. It is a fun center fire plinker gun, but it is in no way a competition gun.

Beretta should come out with a different sight picture.

We dont have a problem with mags, the 90-two can handle 92fs mags.

92FS/90-two is a great IPSC/IPDA gun, no worse than a Glock that's for sure...

and yes 90-two uses the same mags as 92FS...

about the sights I'm pretty sure you can replace the sights with Novaks, or install an adjustable sight.

EDIT: 90-two is actually 2-3 oz ligher than a regular 92 because of the removable grip :)
