Been looking at these as my second HG and would probably get it in .40, despite my glock 17 being 9mm, just to change it up.

Can anyone comment on fit/finish/overall quality and reliability?? I know the 92FS die hards are gonna rip this thread but I would like to think that Beretta knew what they were doing when designing the 90-Two and that it is a more advanced pistol because of this! I've heard it feels like a piece of sh*t but not sure what the criteria are for feeling that way lol. If by sh*t they mean feels like plastic well that accounts for many of the semi's on the market these days.

Also cant seem to find one for under $900 not that pricing ever really makes sense but as a gun that hasn't had too much "positive" feedback I'd hope the price would be a little lower, 750-800 range'ish.

Anyways post away! Im open to hearing pro's and con's between the 92FS and the 90-Two but only if it isn't the opinions of someone whos only operated one of the two and is biased in their views!

Italian designed.

The nice people at Beretta used a noted Italian designer to "dress up" the 92FS so to speak. And hopefully sell a lot of these somewhat different 9mms.
Beretta sold some but quit making them when sales went down. However, the 90-Two is a quality, well made Beretta in their tradition of manufacturing. The 90-two is every bit as reliable as the 92FS, uses the same mags and has the same controls.
Unfortunately or fortunately for Beretta, the 90-two's and the 92FS cost around C$800-950.00 new and re-sell used for around C$695.-750.00. With the right load, the 90-two can be very accurate in 9mm and 40.

I had a 90two in .40. It was fairly accurate, and didn't give me any issues. I even had a small grip for it I liked that it was smaller, but somehow I didn't like the new grip angle.

It's not really more advanced just has a new look. Nothing wrong with it, I just referred the original design in Inox.

btw I still have a lefty holster for it listed in the EE if anyone is looking for one.

You can pick one up on the Equipment Exchange section for relatively cheap. It's pretty much the same as the 92A1 or 92FS just a slightly different slide, recoil buffer and polymer grip. It's a nice pistol, I found that the grip is a little large and I had to re-adjust my grip a lot while shooting but that is the same with any beretta for me. I am also not a big fan of the slide mounted safeties but all in all they are nicely built.

I liked mine. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. It was hard to part with it but someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

I do prefer my Inox though.

90-two

first hand-gun I ever bought. nice ergo's, fit and finish excellent. good balance, straight shooter. also own a 92fs; same but different. the 92 feels like its designed for med-lg hands, while the 90-two is definitely for small-med hands. dis-assembly is easy breezy. really a toss-up between the two, both are fine italian hand-guns in my opinion. best you feel and shoot both before shooting. I would not say one is better than the other.
