I have a Beretta 90TWO, I've shot 1450 rounds through it exactly. It's in mint condition overall. But then I saw this....
A scratch on the right hand side of my firearm, on the rear "shoulder" of the safety/decocker lever. When the safety is engaged that scratch hides perfectly into the slide. I was wondering if that is normal, and is the result of the safety/decocker lever rubbing against the slide every time I engaged it.
At first I thought it was only on the rear side, then I noticed this when I disengaged the saftey....
Another scratch this time on the front side of the "shoulder" of the safety/decocker lever. I tried using a blueing pen that worked for awhile, then it came back. Is there a way to reblue this part of the firearm and then do something to the finish so it doesn't come back?
Don't get me wrong I love some scratches on my blued firearms, I think it gives it some character. But this scratch seems to bug me the most, probably because everytime I go to fire it at the range, It's in the perfect position for my eye to catch it everytime I raise my firearm.
