Anyone privy to the Barrel Twist rate of a newer (2004ish) Italian made 91FS in 9mm? I can't find it, my google-fu is not coming through for me.

My M&P likes 147grain and buddy of mine wants to go halfers on a 1000 rounds so wondering if his gun is going to eat them okay or have issues?

Do you mean M91 or M9A1 or 92FS?

The Beretta M91 Carcano was a rifle.

Just found out there is also a Beretta M91 airsoft pistol. :p

Yes the 92fs woops. 1-10? so that's a different twist of mine of 1-18. Anyone think the 147's are going to cause an issue? Currently he's convinced the pistol is broken in some fashion as it shoots low left. I found it pretty okay when I tried it.

9/10 times when a guy says "my guns broken it shoots _______" the problem is the guy pullin the trigger, have a few people shoot the gun or shoot from a rest.
With a 1-10 twist it shouldnt have a problem stabilizing it

Low left is a FLINCH CAUSED BY THE SHOOTER. I apologize for the rant that you're about to read/hear and its not directed at anyone particular.

WHY THE F**K DOES EVERYONE ASSUME THEY"RE DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT AND ITS THE TOOL THAT'S BROKE?!?!?! SEEK PROFESSIONAL TRAINING!!!!

I'm gonna go out and bash most on this site. If you haven't had any form of professional training, you're simply stumbling in the dark hoping to hit the target. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW. There is no way anyone can have a clue what they're doing right if they don't know what they're doing wrong, and vise versa. Shooting like everything we know how to do in life except for breathe, blink, and sh*t is a LEARNED ACTION. Its a perishable skill that takes PRACTICE and TRAINING to do with any level of competency.

I fully agree it is most likely him. I went shooting with him trouble shoot (no pun) the pistol and I found it fine.

He slaps the trigger etc. I corrected him and he was shooting better. However he seems to have forgotten this and is complaining about the gun being broken. Can be one of those arrogant types who will argue with you that they know it all.

So I'm attempting a placibo by 1 convincing the twist rate will handle the ammo and probably work better for him. And then focus again on his trigger slapping.

Win by getting ammo I want and he will think gun is better and I can slowly adjust his trigger control.
