Beretta 92 models caught my attention these days. I already have a CZ SP-01 Tactical as my production gun. But a real gunnut can't have too many guns RIGHT? Anyway, for those who handled, owned, shot, destroyed, manipulated, gunsmithed, or just read about Beretta 92 models all over the internet. Please please tell me all about it.

And for those who handled both CZ SP-01 and beretta 92... (not really counting on this one... don't think that many people handled both...yet) please give a comparison in terms of accuracy, ease of shooting/operation, availability of parts/accessories, reliability, ease of gunsmithing/tuning.

THANKS!

Trust me, most of the gun shoot better than the shooter. If you like the look of Beretta 92, go and get it, I haven't got a chance to try a SP-01 yet but I have a 75B, I also shot a 92F several time and what I can say is the action smooth as silk. If My mom offer me a bigger hand, I will jump on a 92F in no time.

i personally had a 92FS and tried many CZs...the 92 grip size and trigger is simply to large to FIT my hands. Will get a SP-01 later this year...

I have an Elite II.
Great gun.

AND you're a #####.

It is a great gun.

Other than that: Beretta is guaranteed a good gun, CZ will either be a superior gun to the 92, or an infuriating pump action, depending on whenther it was made on Monday morning, or Friday afternoon (spotty QC).

How does the grip size of the Beretta 92 compare to... say... the CZ Tactical Sport(used to be the IPSC standard)?? I'd say the CZ TS grip size is pretty big, and just barely fit good in my hands, anything even just a little bigger is too big for me.

oh just saw that you are in PG, well come to the PG IPSC Match, I should be there, and try my Beretta out.

Did I mention, everyone who tries out my Elite II falls in love with it.
+1 on the CZ.
There is a chance that it will be an absolute nightmare. Not really broken, but not 100% reliable.

Beretta is a sweet gun; I don't have large hands and find it to be a great fit. I had people with smaller hands than me tell me that the gun was comfortable for them...yes the grip it is a little larger than CZ's (which fits my hand great as well) but not by that much, in fact Vertec in probably smaller...

my 92FS has been 100% reliable even with my reloads :)

PS: Shelby posted a link to neat article comparing the 92FS to 75B (in a beretta vs cz thread about a month ago) anyone has a link?

Found the link, thanks, here it is again, h ttp://www.gunweek.com/2002/feature0110.html
