Curiousity of the morning, regarding these two pistols,...as best I can discover, mechanically they are both pretty good...how do they compare accuracy wise ?...
Btw...do the compact models compare to the full size pistols accuracy wise ??...cheers..R..

Different pistol samples from each vendor will have variance and different reports to this question. In my experience you wont tell a practical difference. Barrel length has little to do with the accuracy in most offerings to a certain extent, it's mostly perceived based on sight radius.

Girsans are well built, still prefer legit Beretta's but for the money, no complaints and build quality is exceptional.

Imho, BOTH are well made firearms. It comes down to what you are willing to pay and how you feel about whats printed on the side of the pistol. I have 2 girsan pistols and both are great. The yavuz is a clone but very well put together. As for barrel length and accuracy, i doubt the half inch shorter barrel will make much difference in the compact.

If the brand name and writing on the pistols were removed, (and you were just a normal joe and not an expert armourer) i doubt you could tell the difference. I have the stainless compact and i love the thing. It is more accurate than i am. It was also half the price of a fs92 inox.

Ernest Langdon just recently announced with Beretta the Elite LTT (pre order for summer) - very slick package and excellent value for the money compared to a 92A3 / M9A3's (now available in black, but not on the shelf that I've seen).

Yeah,I seem to have become enamored with all things Beretta lately.....hmmmm do I want an INOX or an M9A3...
Decisions decisions...

Ahhh,.. I'm far from an armourer, other than tearing AR's apart and a monkey could do that,..I have just recently switched over to the Beretta....polymer framed guns are not for me..... several range trips are in order,...and go from there...

If I weren't looking at buying a home I would have pre-ordered already. Even with the import fee and current conversion rate, you're still better off than a 92A3. 500 are being made in the first run, if I recall, this is a winner for Beretta fans.

Time to phone IRONGUNS. Finally a reason to buy another Beretta. Thanks for posting the video.

Take Care

I have seen Girsan Slides with deformed locking shoulders in them. I don't know how many pistols would have been effected by it, but I have seen it.

I own both the 92FS and the Girsan compact clone of the 92FS.

Can't tell them apart when it comes to accuracy (with the compact being slightly more accurate as compacts are wont to do).

Notes from the range on the weekend...I shot like crap..so no discernible difference between the Beretta 92F and the Gir
san.. One thing I did notice is the Girsan does have a bit more slide movement compared to the Beretta...might that contribute to peening on the slide itself ?..Hmmm,any good smiths work on Berettas out there..??

Well Girsan locking blocks and shoulders are shaped differently than actual Berettas. Do you know if they were actually deformed or were they just the Girsan angle instead of the Beretta angle?

Out today, and got some decent shooting on paper,...no real difference noted, and I actually shot better with the Girsan..
I keep staring at the M9 A3 though...
