Beretta 92FS slide issue

I have a used 92FS and noticed today after shooting at the rear of slide left side where hammer comes down a crack? Is this normal do I have to replace my slide? Any help would be much appreciated.

there shouldnt be any cracks. are you sure its not a scratch?

That crack IS part of the milling process. It is on all slides. I have 2 Elite II's with those cracks in them. The US and some Italian made slides have those cracks in them. My Billenium pistol does not have that crack, but that is a slightly different variant of the 92 pistol.
Slavex on this site knows a little more about 92's than I do. Ask him.

yes upon further insp. you are right it is milled. Whew I was worried there.
