I know a person who wants to sell it, is there an advantage vs the 92F or 92FS? what can its value estimated? 500, 700, $$900 plus?
thanks for your comments.

Well, I looked at it quickly (Iwas not there for is beretta but a Dan Wesson) it seems to be a fullsize and the finish looks as new, I would rate the ''outside'' as very good.

Beretta 92SB is a regular size model 92. It is an improve version of the original Beretta 92. The Italian Police were big buyers. I got a few of them in mint condition from Israeli military, who had them in limited issue. I also have two 92SB's that were VPD issue.

The extremely rare 92SB, Initially called the 92S-1, was specifically designed for the USAF (US Air Force) trials (which it won), the model name officially adopted was the 92SB. It included the changes of the 92S, added a firing pin block (thus the addition of the "B" to the name), and relocated the magazine release catch from the bottom of the grip to the lower bottom of the trigger guard.

I have one, great gun. Reliable. Not super accurate but that is to be expected on account of the barrel not being supported like in a 1911 or a Glock... Really anything with a slide that completely encompasses the barrel.

I actually traded straight across for a Bowtech Pro-38. (He was asking $450 for it)
