I was getting light strikes, and on the long Beretta thread it was suggested to fill the hollow parts of the hammer with JB weld to add some weight to make the strikes harder.
Did that, but didn't work. SO I put the pointy bit on the dremel and removed the JB weld, then added a few small lead shot pellets to it and JB welded again, hoping to increase the hammer weight a bit more. No luck....Still inconsistent.
When I first got the firearm, there was no problem, the light strikes developed over time. I've tried a few different types of ammo, some will go 80% some barely 50%
ANy ideas?
Sierrapapa makes a slick metal hammer and lighter spring, but it is $$$$ and requires sending trigger group to them.
Anybody else got any ideas? I love this gun but the light strikes are making me crazy!
