Hello i own a A-400 and i want to do trap/ skeet competition for fun and I was wondering if there is a beretta special choke and if its worth to buy it

Thank

Trap and skeet are two completely different games and have very different choke requirements, one choke will not be suitable for both. Beretta (and others) make suitable choke tubes for both competitions and your Beretta chokes supplied with your gun will do just fine to begin either. Perhaps you need to study these type of competitions to decide which way you want to go and after you have a few thousand rounds through your gun in competition you will be in a position to consider a different option.

I use a Improved Modified or full for trap, in my A-400 and 690
For skeet there are sheet chokes, which are a more open pattern.
The Beretta chokes are good quality and worth buying

As Ashcroft indicated, trap and skeet are at opposite ends of the choke spectrum. Your gun probably came with an IC choke, mod and perhaps full. IC will work for skeet and modified (at 16 yards) and full (16 yards to 27 yards) will work for trap. If you decide that you want to shoot lots of clay targets, then you can buy additional choke tubes. I'm not a fan of most gun manufacturer's choke tubes and recommend aftermarket tubes, like Briley, Trulock, Carlson, etc.

Before you spend a bunch of cash for competition choke tubes, you might want to look at a different gun for clay targets, tailored to what targets you want to shoot.

If your gun came with the previously mentioned ic,mod and full, you do not need anything else for any of the clay games. Unless you have a need to spend some money. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

When I bought the A-400 (I bought it used but it had never been used) it came with 7 chokes that I took a picture. the 7th is a special for turkey I think. (The longest)

So according to you, in the 7 chokes that I have, there is one for the skeet and another for the Trap?

With the factory chokes shown you have everything you need. Re read post #4 and use the suggested choke for whatever type of shooting you are going to do, you have all you need right there.

i just got back from my gun range. i have to say that it's not a skeet or trap range, just a clay range. I spent around 1h to shot 80 shell and improve my shot.. i learn something today.. shoot i little bit lower of the clayand i use the XF
