Beretta A300 vs 1301 loading gate

The A300 has a well rated enlarged loading gate.
The 1301 reportedly is not as generously enlarged.

Is the 1301 loading gate that much of an issue vs the A300 loading gate? Can any users comment?

I see in the US the there is a significant price gap between the A300 at $900usd vs 1301 at $1600usd. I can why some may opt for the a300 due to give or take $500 price difference

However here we see A300 at $1599cdn vs 1301 at $1799 ....for only an extra $200 it seems like the 1301 with the chromed Blink gas system, steelium barrel, and metal
sights is a worthy step up ( the 1301's only purported short coming is loading gare is smaller than the A300). Thoughts?

The 1301 Comp has the best of them all. Uses a 3.5" receiver and has a enlarged loading port.
 
Good point on the 1301 Comp in 21" and 24" rib barrel models enhanced loading ports.
Too bad they haven't done the enhanced loading port to the 18.5" tactical.
