I am thinking I may "need" an A300.
Anyone have experiences or opinions to share?
Purpose will be hunting only... No targets.

How does it compare to the M2?
I recognize one is gas and the other inertia.

I used a black synthetic A300 Outlander for 2 seasons. Recoil was acceptable. I bought it due to fit and the adjustable LOP for my son to use. Overall it ran well with acceptable build quality. Bit of a pain to take apart and clean.
I'm now using a Remington V3 field black synthetic 28". Just one guy's opinion but I would say it trumps the A300. It is ridiculously soft shooting and has a better trigger, controls and I believe warranty also. They run about $150 cheaper. The V3 is a lot of gun for the money. I'd compare them side by side if possible. If you like Beretta look for a used A390 instead. Maybe also look at the Weatherby SA08.

I have an M2 20ga I bought used off the EE and it is another level in build quality but you are into 1700 new. Happy to post some pics of the two if would help.

I agree with your 390 suggestion.
