Does anyone have any experience with this model? An opinion and a pic. or two would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't have a Trap model but had BL4 skeet gun that was very nice. Pointed well, nicely engraved, traded it on an O/U with changeable chokes so I would do better at Sporting Clays. Like the new gun but scores didn't improve......

If its the same model as the S58 Trap being sold at Smoking Gun FX (and I believe it is), then it is a great shotgun. The Trap models were the top of this line of O/Us, which were made in the 60s & 70s. The quality of assembly and materials is excellent. In fact, the barrels are made from Bohler steel, which is usually reserved for much more expensive shotguns.

Are you sure it's the same model as the BL-4?

May be this pic will help you. This is a BL3 trap model with 30 inch tubes, 2 beads. The BL4 is same as except more engraving, better wood and auto ejectors. PM if you need more help or pics.----Cowboy
