I have a Beretta BM-59 made by Beretta in Italy and am curious to know what it's value may be here in Canada. I was told by a reliable source that it is very rare in Canada and possible only about 2 dozen of these rifles in Canada.
It is of course a converted auto and unfortunately did not recieve a clip with the rifle when I bought it. Numerich arms does sell the clips however for $99. Anyone interested in pictures please PM me and I can send some. I would consider selling or trading this rifle for something interesting.

As a C/A in Canada, there is a very limited market of buyers. I'd check with Wolverine Supplies and Marstar to see if they are interested in it as the owners are collectors as well.

or you could disassemble it and sell it, minus the receiver, as a parts kit. Someone would be delighted to be able to build a non-prohibited version on an M1 receiver. You would likely get more that way, too.

As for part kit pricing, they sell stateside for around $500, although you could easily charge more in Canada. However, having a missing mag could be a problem. I've read that FAL mags can be easily adapted to fit?

This thread suxx without pics.

:D.........:p

Not many of them up here - mags are pretty much unobtainable in Canada, and NO, an FAL mag won't work. You can mod a Garand reciever to work if you want to strip it down into a parts kit, as I have...
Mine uses M14 mags.

OH, Dave, now that's beutiful! Bet there is only a few in Canada for sure.

I WILL get a mag for mine soon. I am not going to turn it into a parts kit, but thanks for the suggestion revilo.

I am still working on the pictures and will soon have a whole crop of them for you guys.

Pictures of Beretta BM-59 on photobucket

I have put some pictures of the BM-59 on photobucket.com, It's the first time I have done this and hope I did it right. My handle on photobucket is "raggedassranch", is this how you find them by going to that name? Can anyone look and tell me if they can find them?

OK, anyone else in Canada or elsewhere have a Beretta service rifle picture to share with us? Ha, Ha got a clip for mine today thru CGN's PM, everybody told me I would never get one here! Should I shoot it now?

"...Should I shoot it now?..." You can't. It's prohibited by name. It doesn't use a clip either.

oh yes it does- that's what the guide on top of the receiver is for - 5 round CLIPS- the fact that use you use them to charge the MAGAZINE is beside the point

Poor Garand.

Bubba lives in Africa as well.

OK, OK, Magazine then. I know I can't shoot it, nor would I risk the consequences, but it is sure tempting!

Glad you found one Grant! Please post more pics when she's complete. I don't know much about these but I see three different stock variations in this thread, are all of them original/correct?
