Beretta CX4 Storm .22lr or .22mag

Would you buy a Beretta CX4 in .22lr or .22mag

If Beretta came out with a CX4 in .22 would you buy one, especially with a double stack large capacity magazine, currently it is restricted because the barrel is too short and its a center fire, but if it was rim fire the barrel lenght could stay the same, it could hold more than ten rounds, maybe even 30 like the Kel-Tec pmr-30, and you could take it hunting.

Maybe if enough of us bug Beretta to make one in a .22 caliber they will make it if they think there is a market for it, a pistol that can use those mags should be next, could give the pmr-30 a run for its money. Can we even get Kel-Tecs up here?
 
Nope. The only reason why I remotely want a CX4 is because it fires 9mm and can be non-restricted. It does not look very pleasing to me.
 
I has the best ergonomics of any gun I've ever handled. Couldn't ever see myself parting with mine. A .22lr would be perfect to bring a newbie shooting.
 
I'm pretty happy with my 597 so it's unlikely I'd get one unless it'd be really cheap, but .22mag would be kinda cool - what kind of velocities do you get out of a rifle with a .22mag?

I'd love to have a 9mm version and wish I got one when they were cheap a few years ago. even now in the states they are under $800 :/
 
I love my CX Storm in .40cal and it's NR, but it's pretty heavy for a .22, EAA might be coming out with a ligtweight .22cal bullpup that would be legal for Canada.
 
Not in 22mag, perhaps in 22LR if the price were reasonable ($500 or less) and it performed well enough to justify it (few jams, accuracy of 1 moa or better at 50 yards). My 10/22 pretty solidly fills the role of hi capacity semi-auto 22 and it would take quite the candidate to unseat it.
 
They make a pellet version already licensed to umarex. Not likely they will also produce a 22. I still don't get the fixation with a tactical 22. I'd spring for the 9mm. At least it has some recoil and makes a noise when you pull the trigger. I've owned a 597 vtr, and just wasn't any fun. Now a pellet gun I could shoot indoors maby.
