Beretta CX4 Storm barrel removal help.

So I have decided to thread my CX4. Planning on a muzzle break or possibly a fake suppressor.

I have removed the barrel nut but dont know what way the barrel comes out of the stock, wont move when tapped from either end.
To me is should slide out the end of the stock as the nut should be pulling it down into the stock as it is on the inside.

Can any one confirm what direction the barrel comes out.

It pulls out the end of the stock as i suspected. Now to just get the f'n thing out.

A couple of light taps with a dead blow on the forend while holding the barrel & it pops right out. easy
Now to find a 5/8-24 brake i like
