I just wanted to update my experience with this air pistol. Bought it a few months ago at Al Flaherty's for $55. Some reviews on line said it was great others said it was not, they said it broke or leaked all the time etc... and that it was not accurate.

Well I have shot 800 bbs through it, using it on 5 different occaisons. I consistently got 150-160 shots per cartridge before it became noticeably weaker. It doesn't leak (noticeably). Used it today at 2 pm when my guests were here with kids, shot 100 times and put it down when they went in for desert :) then it stayed in the garage until 9pm, and I shot another 60 times before it slowed down.

If I use a rest, I can group 20 shots (one clip) within a 2" spread at 25 feet, not bad for a bb gun using just the cheap copper coated steel bbs. Great cheap gun for my 8 and 5 year olds to shoot in my shop on a rainy day.

Sounds like a neat pistol. I was looking at those before I went for a GSG-92 (wanted a good practice pistol for my Beretta).

Sounds like you enjoy waaaayyy more shots/CO2 cartridge than I do (the GSG blowback sucks all the gas away on mine).

Any idea how your Elite compares to the Beretta in terms of weight/sights/trigger pull?

There is a lot of trigger creep and you need to really pull to fire, as my kids use two fingers to do it. It is not light, but there is a lot of plastic. Never shot a real Beretta, the only pistol I effer shot was a Ruger .22 wmr revolver.

Don't laugh, but except for more range and a some more accuracy, the feel and kick etc..., why would someone pay all that money and jump through so many legal hoops, to shoot real pistols! :)
