I have rarely found a Browning that fits as I require considerably less drop than most .... even though I have owned a 325 & a couple of 425 Sporters, a BSS and a T-Bolt.
I don't find anything wrong with the guns themselves, just the stocks are "clubby" and too low. Virtually none of them have had enough cast-off, and most, too much pitch down. Most also have combs that are a little on the thick side. The 325 came off the line "higher" than most, and the two 425's had adjustable combs. The BSS was "bent" up by a stockmaker and the T-bolt is comfortable enough with a scope on it. Having said that, I have done or had done considerable work on the Berettas that I have owned to achieve proper fit, both in SxS & O/U. The DT-10 I purchased new in 2000 was fortunately high enough but I've had it shortened a little, more cast-off added and the pitch changed.
Fortunately, one gunsmith/stockmaker I use a lot shoots with stock dimensions nearly identical to mine, so it's not that difficult to discuss with him what I need to get a good fit.
