Well went to the mail on Monday and picked up my beretta 96A1 from having a little cerakote work done

Big thanks to Patrick at synergy coatings in nisku Alberta!

Lower is burnt bronze ad slide is graphite black low gloss

I had to fully detail strip it myself and was a little nervous but after making some tools and really just thinking on it they are a truly simple pistol and would not hesitate to do it again

While the pistol was out I added a 92D spring
Skeleton hammer
And did a full polish on the sear, hammer, and trigger

Highly recommend the d spring upgrade

Super crisp single action and a very nice smooth no grit and 3lbs lighter DA

I'm very happy how it turned out and this finish is major tough. But still thin that no sandin had to be done to fit everything back together

Shiny spots are from oil or grease from install and range. This pistol is a shooter so we will see how the finish holds up but overall very happy

Only regrets is not getting the barrel done in burnt bronze and the grips in graphite black

Looks great! Humm, tough call if a matching coloured barrel would be overkill but then it might look pretty cool. That and the slide safety/decocker arms in burnt bronze too? :p

Price was 150$ About 50 cheaper than anywhere else. Seems like cerakote is hard to find in Canada but they offer a huge color range
