I own an M9 and out of all my 9mm's (4 of them) it is my favorite.
I have competed and won a trophy with it .I have noticed that out of all the pistols posted for sale in the forums this one is seldom posted ,why is this??
Are there few of them out there ,or are their owners just not parting with them.

There was an M9 on the EE a few months ago..sold very fast. There are lots of 92FS on the EE in new or near new condition never less than $750.00...just waiting for a well used one for $450-550 then I will go metric.

there's usually 2 reasons for the lack of a cewrtain pistol on the ee- it might be fairly rare( not) or the fellows that have them are holding on to them, and are pleased with then; the 92/96 whatevers fall into the latter catagory- and then they WANT TOO MUCH MONEY for either- some of those critters are priced for MORE THAN NEW THROUGH A DEALER

True M9's are scarce up here but as was said, they do pop up on EE once in a while.

I have a suspicion they are no longer being imported up here..

Here's my opinion...the M9 is more scarce and most guys can't tell the difference between them and the 92FS (so they won't pay the premium to get it). When I put my M9A1 up for sale I got all kinds of lowball offers thanks to guys not knowing what is what. Back when Wolverine had their old website they listed their 92FS as M9/92FS which added to the confusion. I had to point out the model differences a lot. I ended up trading it for a Sig P226 Blackwater and got myself the 92FS Inox (what a beauty!).
